Payroll tables will not be used as part of the training presentation although the concepts are the same.

It is expected that attendees will have Jet Reports installed on their computers and they will be licensed designers.

Recommendations when attending:

To benefit from the instruction related to the new features of Jet Reports you must install the latest version of Jet Reports. The following are the system requirements for Jet Reports 2010.

Operating System

  • Microsoft Windows XP
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003
  • Microsoft Windows Vista
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008
  • Microsoft Windows 7

Microsoft Office

  • Microsoft Office 2003
  • Microsoft Office 2007
  • Microsoft Office 2010 (32 or 64-bit)

Database

  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4.0 SP1 or later

Prerequisite

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0

Note: For Microsoft Dynamics NAV users, the executable version needs to be  4.0 SP1 or later. Any version of the business objects may be used.

How do I find out Microsoft Dynamics NAV executable version? Microsoft Dynamics NAV has a separate version for business objects and for executable. Both are available from any Microsoft Dynamics NAV client in the Help, About Microsoft Dynamics NAV window.

Jet 2010 is compatible with any version of business objects for all countries, but requires 4.0 SP1 executable or later. To see the executable version you are running, check the version within the parenthesis. Here is an example: Version WW Dynamics 2.6 (4.0 SP1)

Additional information regarding the download and installation of the latest version of Jet Reports is accessible via online Jet Reports support.

Dual Monitors: Our recommendation is for attendees to have 2 monitors. This will allow for viewing the instructors screen at the same time as working with the concepts and examples. If using a laptop this is generally easy to do.

**Conditions – Each attendee is to be licensed designer based on your current Jet Reports License.
