- User-defined rental terms – Users can define an unlimited list of rental codes to cover virtually any possible rental term for daily or longer rentals.
- Rent or Sell Both Inventory or Fixed Assets – The Open Door Technology Rental Management module is fully integrated with the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Sales Order, Inventory, and Fixed Assets modules. Both Inventory and Fixed Assets may be rented or sold from Rental Management. The system will automatically determine all fixed asset-related disposal calculations including gains or losses.
- Reserve Fixed Assets by Asset Groups – Assets may be reserved by class rather than needing to reserve a specific generator, for example.
- Automatically Flag Returning Assets for Maintenance – Assets may be automatically or manually flagged to require maintenance when they are returned.
- Configurable to Fit Unique Requirements – The Rental Management module is built in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 4GL toolkit, which allows customizations to be easily added to the core application while still protecting an upgrade path.
- Available Through Local Resellers – There are more than 300 Microsoft Dynamics NAV resellers in North America who could potentially implement the Open Door Technology Rental Management module. This provides the benefit of local support and a vertical application built for rental management in a Microsoft-based toolkit.
